Since the kimono is made of 100% cotton, it should be washed on the hand/delicate setting in the washing machine (temperature up to 30 degrees, spins up to 400).

After two or three washes, the fabric stops shedding, while the fabric does not lose color (for blue kimonos)

After washing, shake the kimono and dry it on a clothesline, no ironing is necessary.

If you follow these recommendations, the fabric will shrink up to 3 cm.
